Bellwether Community Credit Union Sweepstakes Official Rules

46-Ounce Yeti® Chug Bottle Giveaway

1. Sweepstakes Name:

The “46-Ounce Yeti Chug Bottle Giveaway” (the “Sweepstakes”).

2. Sponsor:

The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Bellwether Community Credit Union located at 425 Hooksett Road, Manchester, New Hampshire 03104 (“Sponsor”).

3. Sweepstakes Entry Period:

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 AM (Eastern Time) on March 17, 2025 and ends at 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on August 1, 2025 (“Sweepstakes Period”). Drawings will be held weekly on each Friday during the Sweepstakes Period.

4. Eligibility:

No purchase is necessary. This Sweepstakes is open to USA residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsor, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.

5. How to Automatically Be Entered:

To enter the Sweepstakes, you must:

1. Have an existing or open a new emergency savings account with Bellwether Community Credit Union during the Sweepstakes Period.
2. Maintain a minimum daily balance of $100 in the account for a minimum of 30 consecutive days.
3. Entry is automatic upon meeting the eligibility and account requirements.

Each existing or new emergency savings account opened and maintained with the required balance will count as one entry into the Sweepstakes and will receive one chance to win within each drawing period.

6. To Enter by Mail

Send a 3 ½ x 5 card with your name, date of birth, daytime phone number, email address and mailing address to: Bellwether Community Credit Union Marketing Dept., “46-Ounce Yeti Chug Bottle Giveaway”, 425 Hooksett Road, Manchester, NH 03104. Each handwritten entry will be deemed received by Bellwether Community Credit Union when it is time and date stamped by Bellwether Community Credit Union personnel. Only one entry per individual will be accepted. Multiple entries are void and if a handwritten entry is declared a winner, but Bellwether Community Credit Union is unable to determine the identity of the winner due to illegible writing, that entry will be disqualified. Each handwritten entry will receive one chance to win within each drawing period. All handwritten entries must be received during the entry period.

7. Prize:

One (1) winner will be selected to receive a 46-ounce Yeti Chug Bottle (approximate retail value of $73) each week during the Sweepstakes Period. The prize is non-transferable, and no substitution will be made.

8. Winner Selection and Notification:

The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about each Friday during the Sweepstakes entry period. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor or its designee. Each winner will be notified by phone or email within five (5) days of the drawing. If the winner does not respond within five (5) days after the notification, an alternate winner will be selected by a random drawing from all eligible entries. Winner must be able to physically claim their prize at a Bellwether Community Credit Union branch location.

9. Taxes:

The winner is solely responsible for all taxes, including federal, state, and local taxes, that may apply to the prize. If the prize value exceeds $600, the winner will receive a Form 1099-INT from the Sponsor for tax reporting purposes. By participating in this Sweepstakes, you acknowledge that you may be required to provide a valid taxpayer identification number (e.g., Social Security Number) to claim the prize.

10. General Terms:

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, loss, injury, or damage caused by or arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of the prize.

The Sponsor is not responsible for any technical failures or malfunctions that may occur, including but not limited to electronic transmission errors, lost or delayed data, or incomplete entries.

11. Publicity:

Except where prohibited by law, the winner agrees to allow the Sponsor to use their name, image, likeness, and/or statements in any advertising, marketing, or promotional materials without further compensation or notice.

13. Additional Conditions:

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Official Rules, tampers with the entry process, or engages in any other activity that could compromise the fairness or integrity of the Sweepstakes. By participating entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decision of the sponsor and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the sweepstakes or these Official Rules. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the sweepstakes or winning a prize if, at its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes by cheating, deception or unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or sponsor representatives. If for any reason this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, then the sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to award all prizes by conducting a random drawing from all eligible mailed entries received. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the sweepstakes will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire.

14. Sweepstakes Void Where Prohibited:

This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.

15. Limitations of Liability

Winner and entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the sweepstakes entities which includes, Bellwether Community Credit Union, any person, organization or company, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any claims made by the winners, entrants or any other third parties related in any way to the operation of this sweepstakes , as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses (whether alleged, threatened, or actual) to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any sweepstakes -related activity or participation in this sweepstakes .
